Come join us for a three day escape to one of the most beautiful coastal communities in the nation.  Located in Northern San Luis Obispo County, just 6 miles south of the magnificent Hearst Castle, Cambria welcomes scrapbookers from all over the world.  

We have attended almost 20 scrapbook retreats over the previous 5 years.  From these experiences, we strive to merge the best from each, then take it up several notches from there to create an experience that will keep you coming back for more.  Learn from the pros.  Get expert advice, insight and guidance from the top instructors.   Our daily classes and workshops will provide you with the products and techniques to create unique and beautiful scrapbook pages.  Meals, classes, prizes and products are all inclusive. A library of tools and a computer for typing up your journaling will be available on site.    We also have a small store of the most popular products for purchase.

Location

The picturesque town of Cambria is located just south of San Simeon State Park, California, one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in the state park system.   January is the best time of year to view the elephant seal colony, located just north of San Simeon.  The dramatic splendor of this portion of the central coast is one of California's best kept secrets. With unspoiled beaches and dramatic nature trails, this uniquely beautiful area offers pristine coastlines and dazzling vistas.  Cambria is a town of about 7,000 and home to galleries, restaurants and eclectic boutiques. 

Lodging

The location of this special event is the Cambria Pines Lodge. Nestled on 25 wooded acres, the Lodge offers something for everyone. Accommodations range from rustic cabins to elegant suites.  The Main Lodge offers conference rooms with full-service catering, an excellent restaurant featuring local wines, and the Fireside Lounge with nightly live entertainment, all surrounded by world-class gardens and gardening events. The certified organic kitchen garden provides homegrown organic produce to the restaurant at Cambria Pines Lodge, while other areas of the theme gardens offer spectacular landscaping and perfect areas for special events or a peaceful retreat.

Your getaway package includes:

• Two nights stay (Friday & Saturday)
• Choice of two Scrapbook Technique classes with all supplies provided
• At least 3 feet of work space in our cropping room from Friday at 12pm till Sunday at 12pm
• Access to our scrapbooking supply store throughout the weekend
• Optional massage therapist available throughout the weekend (extra fee).
• Unlimited use of our Scrapping Tool Center full of great scrapbooking tools, computer, idea books and more
• Giveaways and games with fabulous prizes
• Friday night theme party with prizes
• Meals included:  Friday night dinner, late night snacks both nights, Saturday breakfast, snacks & lunch, Sunday breakfast. (menus will be posted here soon)
• Saturday dinner you are on your own to explore the area and the many great restaurants in Cambria. 

A $75 deposit is required to hold your space upon registration. We accept personal checks or money orders.

We will mail you a welcome package, including the schedule for the weekend, class choices, and information on contests and other fun events to plan for.  We will also send some info on things to do in Cambria and great places to eat.

The balance will be due no later than 3 weeks before your retreat begins.  If you need to cancel for whatever reason, a $50 fee will be kept and the remaining $25 of your deposit can be applied to a future retreat. There are no refunds for cancellations less than three weeks before the event.
